RE/MAX Alliance a Great Supporter of Alice's 36 Hours for Kids!!

RE/MAX Alliance is honored each year to participate in Alice’s 36 Hours for Kids Radiothon. This year was the 11th annual event, which took place from February 15th-17th. It was broadcast live from Children’s Hospital Colorado on Denver radio station Alice 105.9.

Alice 105.9 dedicates airtime to broadcast stories of strength and survival. This has become one of the most compelling and moving radio events ever heard in Colorado! The Radiothon supports children and their families who depend on the world-class care that Children's Hospital Colorado provides.

This year’s Radiothon raised over $1.8 million dollars, along with books being donated to all of the kids at Children’s Hospital.

Kim Hawkins, Vice President of RE/MAX Alliance, is a huge supporter of this event and has been actively involved each year since the Radiothon’s inception, helping to organize and recruit volunteers.

RE/MAX Alliance had over 60 high-energy volunteers in attendance this year to support the Children’s Miracle Network. Agents Heidi Schaffnit and Cynthia Parker were two RE/MAX Alliance agents in attendance. For Parker, this was her 6th Radiothon, having participated each year since joining RE/MAX Alliance in 2006.

“This is one of those events that are such an uplifting experience,” said Parker. “It’s an amazing feeling to know the difference we are making in the lives of these kids. It’s quite a humbling experience; it really gives perspective on what to truly be thankful for. With such a large group of volunteers from RE/MAX Alliance, it’s also fun to have healthy and fun competition on who can raise more money.”

“My heart goes out to the kids, the families and all of the wonderful staff at Children’s Hospital,” said Schaffnit. “I feel there is no bigger worry than the safety and well being for our children. This is why I give back to this wonderful organization.”
