RE/MAX Alliance Wraps-Up Another Successful Agent Sales Mastery Day Event!

Each year RE/MAX Alliance provides their associates the opportunity to attend RE/MAX Alliance’s Sales Mastery Day. An event that brings the entire organization together for educational sessions, break-out panels, sales strategies, and updates on current and future technology tools.

This year’s event was held on February 7th at the Qwest Learning & Conference Center in Lakewood. In addition to the RE/MAX Alliance agents, staff and management, a number of sponsors and vendors were on-site to promote their services and products.

The morning began with a high-energy and entertaining keynote speech from nationally known speaker and consultant Craig Zablocki. Zablocki has spoken to over 900,000 people internationally and in all 50 states. He energized the crowd with some basic exercises and tested the agent’s ability to follow simple instructions.

A number of break-out sessions were available throughout the day. There were topics like: Tired of Hearing about Social Media; Marketing Luxury Homes; Top Ten Cool RE/MAX Tech Tools; Market Data to Make You a Success; and Simplifying Short Sale Transactions.
“I believe this was the best Mastery Day so far,” Managing Broker Phil Shell said. “There was such a buzz about many of the break-out sessions that the presenters were asked to come to individual offices to do a more interactive and personal presentation of the material.”

One of the many highlights of the event was the closing session, which offered the agents a look into the global technology landscape and how it relates to the real estate industry. Senior IT Officers of RE/MAX International, Kristi Granning and Marnie Blanco provided insights that are helping keep RE/MAX International on top of the real estate web space.

“There was a lot of valuable information presented,” said Shell. “Most of the material was placed on the company website for the agents to go back and review. For me personally, there were seven items that I focused on to implement in my own business. Among the items are the technology, web sites, and Search Engine Optimization. Implementing these tools has really impacted my presence on the web. As a result, my traffic has increased substantially.”

“It truly is an amazing experience to have such a wonderful group of individuals under one roof,” said Vice President Kim Hawkins. “The support, hard work, commitment and enthusiasm from all of our volunteers, sponsors, vendors, presenters, agents and staff are what makes this event a great success year after year. We look forward to next year and already have some ideas for improvement next year!”
